We have various updates to start off the new year.
Production is well underway on the special-order leather-bound scriptures, and the miracles continue! So far, we are on track for the original estimation of delivery in the spring. We ask for your prayers over the next week as some of the most critical parts of the process will happen.
The text for the First Edition, First Printing of the scriptures (which will be the original source for the special-order sets) has now been standardized and updated across all versions and bindings, including the online tools and downloads at scriptures.info, and print-on-demand books of all sizes.
The Stick of Joseph in the Hand of Ephraim has been published and is now available in digital format as well as print-on-demand in paperback and hardcover options. For full information about that, or to obtain a copy, please visit stickofjoseph.info.
A new Journaling Edition of the scriptures has been made available. This is unique with extra-large, lightly lined margins which are perfect for making robust notes and comments in your personal scriptures. These have a hard cover, and standard size text, with the same page layout as all the other sizes available, a truly remarkable feat in and of itself! See full details at scriptures.shop. Medium Print vs Journaling width comparison below.
Now that we have crossed a major bench-mark with the scriptures printing project, a document has been prepared that has a brief history of the printing of the Restoration Edition scriptures since 2018 and with it a guide to help you identify which version you may have. You can find that document HERE. Included in this document is a link for those who have Print-On-Demand RE scriptures that documents all edits made to the text between July 2019, when the final edition was released, and November 2019 (known as Text V1.000) when manuscripts were submitted for the leather-bound edition. This will allow you to make those minor updates to your physical copy if you decide to do so. There have been no major additions or changes, only minor things and punctuation not previously corrected.
As a reminder, we are aware of two upcoming conferences, a General Conference in Hurricane UT, Fri Mar 20 - Sun Mar 22. See HERE for website and details. And an Asia Regional Conference held in Japan April 3-5, 2020. See HERE for website and details.
